Why do you prefer products over direct donations?

Because a product you actually want removes the friction of asking for money, and lets everyone contribute, not just those who can afford to give something for nothing in return. But we don't want to lose the people who'd rather give without getting a product back either. Direct donations are still possible.

These are firm commitments, not just intentions: full publication of our manufacturing and marketing budgets, a justification for every field or travel expense, and a live dashboard tracking donations in real time as it rolls out.
